We have a splendid roster of faculty giving papers at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Jane Austen & the Arts Conference.  Now it’s time to turn to student participants.

Advanced undergraduates and graduate students are invited to submit 250-word proposals for 15-minute papers on topics related to Jane Austen’s engagement with the arts.  Please submit a brief biography with your proposal and a list of audiovisual equipment required for your presentation.

The deadline is November 1st.  Please submit proposals electronically to both Anna Battigelli (anna dot battigelli at plattsburgh dot edu) and  Nancy Johnson (nancy dot johnston at newpaltz dot edu).  Notices of acceptance will go out mid-November.

All students are warmly invited to participate in the conference regardless of whether or not they deliver a paper.
